Located near the river, it is perfect for a picnic and offers walking tracks with picturesque views. It is also known for fishing spots and accessible fishing from the shore. Visitors appreciate the clean toilets and peaceful surroundings, but there are no bins, so remember to take your rubbish with you. The river provides a great spot for swimming, and the area is well-maintained by NPWS staff.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
